The Academy Watford Performing Arts School was established in 2015 by West End Performer Sara Bispham and in 2016 The Academy Dance Company opened, offering dance classes for 7-18 year olds in Musical Theatre, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Commercial and Tap.

All of The Academy's Faculty members are professional performers and 

choreographers, ensuring that the training we bring to The Academy Kids is current, relevant and of the very highest standard.

The Academy Dance Company classes are open to all - whether you are an absolute beginner or an experienced elite dancer, we have classes to cater to all levels of dance. As a school we are fully inclusive and welcome all - if you already attend classes at another Dance Studio/School we are happy to work alongside your current dance/gymnastic training to give your dance and performance that extra push!

Our two focuses are technique and performance. We ensure all of our dancers learn the proper foundations of dance in a safe and nurturing environment as well as working heavily on developing your performance skills.
